There are a number of ways that you can join us and help support older adults in our community. For starters, you can become a member. See the information below on how to do that.
Employment and Volunteer Opportunities
- You can become a board member – click here for more information about becoming a board member.
- We also have an exciting new opportunity for someone to head up our Social Prescribing program. This is a new program. The position will start out as a volunteer position while we finalize grant money. It will then become a paid position. Check out the Social Prescribing Job Description for more information.
- We are also looking for someone to lead our Education & Awareness Committee - this is a volunteer position. Click here for more information.

Become a member of Langley Seniors in Action.
Member benefits:
- Voting: Members are eligible to vote on matters relating to the Society such as the constitution, bylaws, and selection of board members. You also help us form our annual plan and decide on focus areas.
- Communications: Members receive regular newsletters containing Society and member information, as well as news on matters affecting seniors.
- Pride: Members get the satisfaction of belonging to an organization that puts seniors’ issues first.
- Low Annual fee: $5 per person, Community Organization or Business

Disclaimer: Membership is granted to individuals who subscribe to the purpose and mission of the Langley Seniors’ Community Action Table Society and who pay annual dues. LSCAT Society does not share or sell its members’ personal information with 3rd parties.
Members are granted voting privileges at Monthly Members’ meetings and the Annual General Meeting provided they have been in good standing at least 30 days prior to the meeting date. Proxies are not given. Members must be in attendance to vote.
